The kids baked cookies with daddy for the first time this Christmas Season. They had a blast! They made a mess but it was fun. Next year the cookies will be more presentable to the public. They were just perfect for mommy and daddy. Enjoy!

Princesses First Tea Party

Princess had her first tea party with Aunt Michelle and Mimi. She had a blast! It had been a while since we had all seen each other. I love being at there house. It is so quaint and cozy. Buzz was really not feeling the whole tea party thing at all. He watched sports with Popi and DH. Ariel really did not get it but thought the cider was great. Cider and cookies are what we had and Princess received her first tea set! She was so excited that she wants to have another with her Aunt, and friends but she is under the impression that we need to all bring out own tea sets!...the things kids say:-) Later that beautiful fall day we went outside for some "ring around the rosie" and sports conditioning.

Thankful...for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was great. My inlaws and nephew came up to spend the day with us. Princess, Buzz, and Ariel were so very happy. I made a Turkey for the second year in a row and did not have to call K this year. Although I did forget to call all together because of the craziness(I know you understand..lol). I had a wonderful table setting and the food was fantastic. I am thankful that all of my children are healthy and DH is who he is. I know that I should be thankful all the time and I am but that day is a reminder of what I have. My children said there grace with a little something extra and that just warms my heart each time I hear something different come from their little mouths. God is good and I need to be mindful of all of the blessings that he has given me. Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh yes,Oh yes, It's Fall Time!

I took these pics a few weeks ago as I was blowing the leaves and the "crew" asked me to make a leaf pile. It was awesome! They played outside for 2 hours straight. The leaves on the trees were gorgeous. I am not and outdoor person by any means but kids have a way of changing things about you. As they played with a "free" pile of leaves it put things in perspective for me. My family is all that I should be concerned with anything else it extra. Oh yes, Oh yes, life is good in the Suburbs.

Boo at the Zoo.....

We had a blast at the zoo! DH and I took the kids along with Grandma and their cousin to the zoo. They tricked and treated for hours. We arrived at the zoo at 1:30 and did not leave until 5:30. All the animal were out and growling and what not. The kids got a kick of of their friskiness:-) We all dressed up. Cowgirl was a cowgirl, Buzz Lightyear was Buzz Lightyear, Pooh Bear was Raggedy Ann and I was her mother:-) I loved dressing up with the kids and many people stopped up and said how sweet it was to do that and how cute we were:-) DH was surprised because he had no idea of what I was going to be. On Halloween night we went over to a friends to trick or treat. In their subdivision the guys take the kids trick or treating and socialize while the women dress up go to each others homes to socialize, help hand out candy, and drink coffee! Fun..fun...fun... Enjoy....

I am playing catch up with my blog. I have been very busy enjoying life! Here you go....

It was windy and damp so conditions were not great but I did it! DH and the kids came to see me finish. It was so awesome because ladybug always thinks that I won the race. DH has loves it and congratulates me everytime I finish a race with a nice breakfast or dinner. This time we went to the Original Pancake House. I ate so much and drank about 6 glasses of water. I am on to a 10k in on Thanksgiving Day, it's called the Gobble Jog:-) I love running not mention the weight loss that comes with it.

My First Country Concert

Cowboy Troy - I Play Chicken With The Train

Cowboy Troy
I had the best time at my first country concert. We went for a friends birthday. I must say I was one of the few people of color there but I am ok with that because I feel like that just says I have a lot of culture! It was a benefit concert which was awesome! Big & Rich,Cowboy Troy, and Lynard Skynard. The first two were my favorite:-)

Hilton Head...how great thou are

We had a blast in Hilton Head. The girls loved putting on various swimsuits. It was like a photo shoot. DH and I agree that this was by far the best family vacation ever! We rode bikes up and down Hilton Head Island. It was good excercise for us and good sleep for the kids:-)Buzzlightyear(at the moment)loved the ocean. I think that he is going to be a surfer. Cowgirl(at the moment)played in the sand nonstop. She was not big on the ocean unless her daddy carried her out there. Poohbear thought that everything was great. She had fun no matter what we did. We went to the Salty Dog Cafe'. My kids just kept waiting for the dog to show up. See you in 07' Hilton Head.

I am back in the ATL. I had a wonderful refreshing 4 days. I got a lot done at the retreat but also made some new friends and got closer to ones I already new. He also took the kids to see the grandparents, park, and church. They had a blast! The kids will be in there second full week of school...I will post pics later on that. I am a little behind with my blog(lol. I should be up and fully running by midweek. I actually turned my first day of school pics into a scrap page! Mommy is happy and everyone else is also. We will be on vacation next week:-) I can't wait for that! Two weeks in a row...life is good in the burbs.

Things That Make You a Blog Addict

Are you a blog addict?
You Know You're a Blog Addict When...

1. you have more blog friends than 'real life' friends.
2. you're blogging in your head before you fall asleep.
3. your out of town husband and you converse in your blog's comments.
4. you tell your friends and family things like, "I'll ping you and you ping me back," or "Okay, I want to trackback on your last comment..."
5. you blog in your head an event that's happening at that very moment!

Girls Night

Late last night some of my friends came over. There was one of us was missing because a death in the family(our prayers are with you P). We had her there in spirit(love ya P)! We ate pizza, doughnuts, and drank coffee. It was the bomb! It reminded me of my when dh and I were dating and I would have a sleepover with the "girls". Last night was good because they came over to cheer me up and we scrapped until 1:00 a.m. That is something that I love and I thought it was sweet of them to come and cheer me by reminiscing about dating, college, JC(Jesus Christ), and family.....It is nice to know that you have people that will just "show" up when needed. I hope that i give that back in return and also hope that my "girls" will have that friendship in there 30's also.

The time difference is about 7 hours so we will talk at wierd times of the day. Rome is my second favorite place in the world. It was also my favorite subject in school. Hopefully we will both be back there in the Spring with all those frequent flyer miles:-) The first resturant that he saw when he got off the plan was a McDonalds!

The Reason

Yes....I am up at 1:05 in the morning. I can't sleep. I think that I am still exhausted from the consignment sale put on by my multiples group. I was sitting here playing around with my computer and surfing through my other friends and friends of friends blogs. I had a thought. I love being a mom! It fullfills me in everyway. I also am happy that I take care of myself and my children. A "wise woman" said...(Karen) a happy mom is a sane mom. It is my motto which is why I am starting to ice skate, watch cheesy movies again, srapbook, read, and excercise again. Those are things that I love as a woman and as a mom. My "crew" as I call them are the love of my life. I know that I am doing everything that I can to make sure they are well rounded people and that I myself am a well rounded person. I want my children to look at me and see a happy person not just a happy mom. They mimic me a lot and it is funny to watch and by that I know that they are happy....just a thought.

Fun Times

This was New Years Eve 2005. Me and dh went out with some really good friends, Karen and Jeremy. Both of the dh's are pretty quite but Karen talk enough for all of us. They joined us for dinner and we had a blast. We never ask people to take pics of us so we were glad that the two of them were with us. We were at Dante's Down the Hatch in Atlanta. It is a Fondue Resturant with live alligators! You eat dinner on a ship and in the middle is a live jazz band. This place is awesome. We were engaged here on New Years eve 1997! We have been here every New Years Eve since.

1st Place at my 1st Retreat!

Most Creative
This was my first retreat. I was new to scrapbooking and so I thought that I would give it a try. I had 10 min to put together a page and I am very competitive so I went for it. I had no idea that it would even be considered but it was and I got first place. Yea for me!

12 days!

I have about 13 days until my 10k! I will be running the US 10k Classic in Marietta Georgia on Labor Day. I woke up this morning from a long weekend! I went to the "Y" and did about 30 minutes of cardio(burned 300 calories)! and did a sculpt and stretch class.Yikes!! I thought that since there were a lot of older women this class must be easy. Oh no it was the hardest class that I have ever done! It consisted of 2 double steps, jump rope, resist-a-ball, 10lb weights, and oh yeah a 10 lb body bar! I see why Beyonce' is workin-it! I am not far behind(lol)

Finally! My First Page Uploaded

I have finally uploaded a scrapbooking picture to my blog all by myself with no help. I must say though it was through inspiration of a friend of a friend. I hope to post more scrap pics soon.

Diary of a SAHM

I am finally back. I have been preparing for my NFMOMC mulptiples sale. It is this weekend so I have not been blogging as I would like to. Last night I ran 3 miles in 35 minutes! It was a breeze with my new ipod. I am starting to like songs that I never would have admitted to. I also starting body sculpting. I am trying to prove a comment that was made to me to be WRONG. I am now 10 pounds heavier than the day I was married. By December I will be at my pre-kid weight! It was about 70 degrees last night(WoW)it felt wonderful. I am more of a cool weather runner as long as I am bundled up with my aveeno lip balm. It's almost time for the Jackets to sting!
