Oh Yes Oh Yes it's Spring Time!

After school yesterday we went to the park. It was a beautiful day. I needed to take some photographs for my photography class so this was the perfect day. I am learning so much. I took about 137 pictures and I think 5 of them are pretty good. That is what usually happens when you start out. I love Spring! It is my favorite time of the year with the exception of Christmas. The kids played for hours. It was sad that dh is out of the country so maybe he can enjoy these....

Siamese Cousin's

I got to see my cousin Michele when I was in Indiana. She is so pretty and sweet. We talked all night and basically were attached at the hip. We giggled and we laughed although it was a sad time for both of us. I love her so much and we hit it off the first time we met. I"ll bet you are like how is that possible if they are cousins. Well...she is actually my dh's blood relative but we claim each other first. I can call her after not talking to her for 3 months and it is like we talk everyday. She is awesome and so is my niece:-) My aunt her mother is an awesome photographer. I am learning all I can from her since I am not into photography thanks to her! My dh has a wonderful family who loves me so much and I feel the same about them. It is nice to have that for our children also. Here are some pics that she took. I love all of these. I know that it helps that I am pretty cute and I am sure she will agree that you do need a beautiful subject....lol

Bitter Sweet Moments... followed by a blizzard!

I am here in Indiana visiting Great Grandma. She is so awesome. I saw her today at her worst and she is still worrying about setting the clocks ahead on Saturday night. I was so happy to get a hug and a kiss from her as it will probably be my last and she will soon be with the Lord and Great Grandpa in heaven. She remembered me and that made me oh so happy. I told her that Angel prays for her every night and she prayed for her last night. She told me that she appreciated that and that is probably why she did not die today! Wow.....what a statement. That is a story that I will tell her when she is a bit older and will make sure I write it down for her. The things that a grandparent says can sometimes transform the way that you look at things.
On a lighter note...it is a blizzard warning here in Indiana. I see real snow and wind blowing across the highway. This is like nothing I have ever seen before. Dh does a great job driving in it. We are so happy that all of our cousins are here except one. We are happy to see each other and catch up. It has been at least 6 years since we all saw each other. The biggest highlight for me is that I am spending time with my cousing Michele. I could do that and nothing else. We don't talk much but when we do it's like we never parted. I love her! That is far too long! Here are some pics. I will post more later.

And then.....Nana

Princess is really into talking on the phone like her mommy. It is so funny the expressions that she makes. She talked to Nana and Pop-pop on the phone for twenty minutes!!! She had a lot to say all the while admiring her outfit of the day. She is such a girlie girl with her style, phone etiquette, and lip gloss. I am taking a photography class on Mondays and have been playing with settings and she is always ready for a picture.
