Here's to Dad...6.5 years and counting

You loved them before they were even here. Here are the photograps of what you and I have created together. You are more than just a dad you are a father! The children that we are raising together are so blessed to have you as a father. I am lucky to have you as a husband. You are shaping these 3 beautiful kids to love Jesus Christ and grow up to be responsible adults. You are shaping our children in ways that I can't count. You teach them to love and forgive others as Christ does us. Although you think it is not gettting through at times....I hear them talking about how daddy loves them all the time. Thank you for being a Father! Our precious Angel says all the time, "My Daddy love us no matter what"! It is not about the destination but the journery for us. Oh my...I am loving this journey that we are on. I love you honey and Happy Father's Day!
 

 
 
 

Swimming, Swimming, Just Keep Swimming

They did it! It was awesome. As you can see Princess is still a bit shy about the water but we hope that changes in the next six months. Angel and Buzz rocked tonight. Angel won first place for backstroke....46 seconds this week. She just keeps shaving down her time. This was Buzz's first meet as a Rapid and he got first place also! The other team had no more "Heats" which is another word for competitors so we swam down the lane all by himself and he got his ribbon. He did not care that no one else was in the water but he was proud to finish. That is my boy! Who cares what others are doing? Do yo thang and make the water like rain!! Congrats to all of my crew!

Family Night

We loved our family night. We have been doing them for a while but it was nice to have all the directions laid out for you for a change. We incorporated Star Wars into our Family Night. For dinner we had subs(Space Subs), asteroids (cheese balls), Alien Juice ( 7up with lime sherbert). The girls were Queen Lucy(Narnia)..I know..I know. The other daughter was Padme'. I was Jar Jar Binks and my husband was Obi-wan. We talked alot about how we have had frustrations and how we can handle them better. What I was most shocked about was that my family thought I talked on the phone too much! I do talk alot but they felt ignored. So I made a deal with them. I will not be on the phone when I pick the kids up from school or there after until bedtime and when my husbands comes home I won't be on the phone. It was fantastic. We can't wait for this Friday! She Did It!

Congrats to my sweet girl for breaking her own time! She just started as a Rapid on Monday. Before this she was what they call a Ripple. In order to be a Rapid you have to swim down the entire lane of the pool in under a minute. On Monday she was 1:20.00 today she had a meet and she swam freestyle in about 59.00 and backstroke in 56.28 seconds! I was proud and so was she!! It is nice to see all of that hard work and MONEY pay off. Thanks Dad! Big Brother should be on her heels in about a week! He is much more motivated now as she got a snow cone for her accomplishments!
 
 
 
 

Zumba Party

I love Zumba! I love teaching and inspiring women to feel sexy in the mirror while working out. Every instructor has their own style and flair. No one instructor is the same which is why I love it. Everywhere I go I hear Zumba music and most of the time I start to bop my head and move my body. I have always loved to dance but never knew that it could also be a workout and possibly a career. I think often about what I want to do later in life and I can see myself Zumbaing or some otther form of workout. I can't wait to see how my body changes and gets even into more shape. To all my instructor out there....keep it coming. There is a studio that you should check out if you are ever in the ATL called Fusion! It is awesome.
