Welcome To Miami

I am in Miami Florida with my wonderful husband on a get-a-way. He is here on work but his awesome boss gave him the rest of the week off mid way through the week! After I picked up the rental car I was greeted by Pitbull! I love me some Pitbull. I just could not wait to get to Miami as I am a Zumba instructor and I just love dancing. I had already scoped out where I could go take some other instructors Zumba classes. I knew Beto was here but I did not know I would be 5 miles from where he would be teaching! Beto is the creator of Zumba itself. He just rocks. I had heard he was awesome but to see the man himself in the flesh doing what he does best is priceless! I was so excited to get to meet him. I got my picture taken with "the man". He is a sweetheart and just is an awesome instructor. I walked away feeling so estatic and I will be taking Samba lessons this year! I love the samba and I need to get much better at it so I can samba my heart out! We have had the most wonderful time here. We have eaten lunch and dinners on the beach and taken night walks along the boardwalk. It's really nice to get away and reconnect with one another. I thank God for my mother in law. She just rides in on her silver horse and saves the day. She is and has always been willing to be there for us to help with the kids since they were born. She is all about us having couple time. It's nice to have the support of family. I really appreicate her always "being" there not matter what the circumstance. Miami is awesome and I can't wait to come back soon! Here is what I see every evening from the balcony of our room. Location, location, location....

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Here is what I made dh and the kids for Valentine's Day. I filled it with love and Candy. I have been getting my creative juices flowing again as far as scrap booking. I really enjoy it and when I can recreate things like this is just gives me a boost! For Valentine's Day dh had to leave for Romania. He did take me out for a wonderful dinner full of laughs. When I woke up this morning he had put up the shelves in my new up and coming scrapbook/craft room. He is just the most awesome guy! I decided that although we are going to put the house on the market again in a couple of months that I still needed to "live" here in the meantime. The market is just crazy and although we need more space I can't just sit and hope. Of course I am sure as soon as I get it the way I like it then it will be sold! I am ok with that. I will post pics as I move through the process of finishing the room! Dh is gone for two weeks so I have a lot of night time free to work on this. Off I go... to the paint store!

Gaitlynburg

We went to Gatlinburg Tennessee after Christmas with our family. It was a blast! I had never been there before and so I decided it would be an adventure for us all. It had snowed the week before, so when we got there it was still snow on the ground! It was one of our best trips. The cabin was very nice and we even had some little fury friends come over and visit! It was not bears as I was told that they were all around later that day. I think my little ones would have loved seeing a bear or two. The kids loved the dogs that came over every morning during our stay. That was the highlight of the trip for them. I love our trips under the tree! They also had a terrific scrapbook store in Gatlinburg! I want to go back just for that!
