Family Night #1 of 2009!....Camp In'!

Last night was a blast. We had our first family night of 2009! It was about 20 degrees outside last night so we had our campout in. We had white chicken chili for dinner and smores for desert! The kids thought it was extra special because we ate inside our tent in the family room! I had Buzz gather the sticks from outside so that we could roast the marshmallows. Dh made a fire for us and it was perfect as always. After dinner and smores we went to our weekly site kidstuff . Every week there is a takeout for you to do at home and on the first Sunday of the month there is a new "Big Idea" and you work on that idea all month long. This month was Obedience!: Trusting those who lead you by doing what you're asked
Memory Verse: “Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you.” — Hebrews 13:17
It has been something we all struggle with. We all sat at Daddy's laptop and made up some commandments and punishments for the week for our family. using these Instructions.

Here are our rules and Punishments for the week. Some are funny but it's the point of it all...:
Punishments
1. Timeout
2. No games for the day
3. No milk for dinner
4. Have to call Grandma and tell her
